Our online shop is always open! Your online purchases help support Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa. Use our  Online Code Request Form to convert program credits into a code for use in the online store.

You can place online orders with any of our four GSGI shop locations using this easy form! We offer no contact pickup, as well as direct shipping for your convenience. Place your order using this form and our personal shoppers will gather your items, contact you for payment, and help you decide which delivery method is best for you.

There is no direct “ship to store” option on the online shop, but if you simply fill up your online shopping cart, then contact us, we will place the order for you, with no shipping fee! Email a picture of your cart to info@gsiowa.org, or call us at (800) 342-8389. We’ll get your items ordered and shipped to the Leadership Center nearest you, and save you the shipping charge!

Simplify your shopping experience and call ahead to order your items for store pick up! Call us at (800) 342-8389 or email us at info@gsiowa.org to get started with your order, and your items will be ready to pick up within 24 hours after the order is placed. We'll hold on to your order for 72 hours (three days) so you can pick it up when it is convenient for you!

We understand you can’t always make it to the shop during our regular business hours. We’re happy to accommodate busy Girl Scout leaders and parents. To request an off-hours shopping appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours ahead of time. We’ll let you know if a staff member can assist you according to your schedule.


Free Backpack with Starter Kit

Visit any of our council shops for our build-it-yourself Starter Kits – perfect for new Girl Scouts and bridging members! When you spend at least $30 on essential items (qualifying uniform pieces, insignia, and books) for one grade level kit, your Girl Scout will receive a FREE BAG.

This is an in-store offer; similar promotions can be found on the online shop, but details vary. GSGI provides starter kits year-round, as long as supplies are available.

Are uniforms required for Girl Scouts?

Girl Scouts at each grade level have one required element (tunic, sash, or vest). This is meant for the display of official pins and awards, to be worn when girls participate in ceremonies or officially represent the Girl Scout Movement. The wearing of uniforms unites girls as Girl Scouts.

For all girls, the unifying look includes wearing a choice of a tunic, vest, or sash, combined with their own solid white shirts, and khaki pants or skirts. For adult members the unifying look of the uniform is a Girl Scout-official scarf for women or tie for men, worn with the official membership pins, and combined with their own navy blue business attire. 

Is financial assistance available for uniforms/books?

Yes! Qualifying girl members are eligible to receive up to $30 towards specific items in the Girl Scout shop, including: tunic (Daisies) or sash; uniform insignia; grade-level polo shirt; and/or books. You can start your application here.

How do I know where to place badges, patches, awards, and other insignia?

How can my Girl Scout use her Cookie Dough online?

You can request an online code to use your program credits (Munch Money, Cookie Dough, Juliette Program Credits, or Troop Credits) on the online store.

You can request your online code by submitting the Online Code Request Form.

Cookie Dough and all Product Program Credits expire annually on September 15.

I got an email about a special on the online shop! Can I use that discount in-store?

Girl Scout members and parents may receive email updates from “Girl Scout Shop” with great promotions for the GSUSA online shop.

If you bring in an email to one of our shop locations, we’ll do our best to match most promotions! Some limitations/exclusions may apply.

How can I order fun patches?

Our retail team can help you select and place a fun patch order! Visit one of our shop locations, or contact us to get started.

Fun patches are a great way for girls to show what they’re up to in Girl Scouts, and collect memories from their activities! Note: fun patches are to be placed on the back of the Girl Scout uniform.

What are GSGI's shipping and handling costs?

If you are looking for something not available in our shops, we are happy to place an order.

To have an item shipped to our stores for pickup, there is no additional shipping cost.

To have an item shipped to your home, shipping and handling charges are estimated based on Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.’s shipping chart, though we make every effort to offer lower shipping costs when available. Please note there is an $11.00 shipping charge for the Girls’ Guides to Girl Scouting.

What is GSGI's hold policy?

Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa Retail Hold Policy

Unpaid retail items will be held in the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa shops for up to 10 business days. If items are not picked up by the customer after 10 business days and arrangements have not been made with a Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa staff member, items will be returned to shop inventory.

 Paid retail items* will be held in the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa shops for up to 20 business days. If items are not picked up by the customer after 20 business days and arrangements have not been made with a Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa staff member, items will be returned to shop inventory and customer forfeits payment in full.

 Items held for pick up under Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa’s Product Program and Community Troops will be subject to this policy.

 *Paid retail items may include, but are not limited to, items ordered and paid
for via phone call or in-person if an out of stock item was ordered.

Lost and found
Items lost and found at GSGI events or offices will be held for 30 days, then donated.
