Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa (GSGI) is committed to fostering and nurturing inclusive, equitable, and culturally conscious experiences for our Girl Scout community. As a council, we are dedicated to understanding similarities and differences, building equity and relationships, dismantling inequities, and promoting a dialogue of acceptance and respect through Girl Scouts. We recognize the need for continued growth and modeling behaviors for our Girl Scouts by engaging in learning opportunities and taking action to improve.
Creating Culturally Responsive Opportunities for Girl Scouts
GSGI is working to create fun and flexible program opportunities that reflect the needs and voices of youth members across diverse communities. We have several council-created patch programs for our members to learn more about themselves and other cultures.
