Service to Girl Scouting Bar Form
If you choose to volunteer at least 20 hours to the Girl Scout organization, you can earn the Cadette/Senior/Ambassador Service to Girl Scouting Bar!
To earn your Service to Girl Scouting Bar:
- Contact Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa or your local service unit to get ideas for potential service projects.
- Get approval from GSGI for your service project by filling out this form.
- Once your project has been approved, complete at least 20 hours of service to Girl Scouts to earn the bar!
Project examples: You might volunteer your time at a special event for younger girls, be an office assistant for GSGI or your service unit, or help with special council projects.
Note: Your service hours for this bar need to be separate from those you use toward other awards. Each bar represents a new project and can only be earned once.
