Community Service Bar Form
When you earn the Cadette/Senior/Ambassador Community Service Bar, you are making a difference in your community – and practicing the values of the Girl Scout Law. It’s also a great way to get involved win a cause you care about.
To earn the Community Service Bar:
- Choose an organization you’d like to volunteer with. The organization will need to agree to give you instructions about the work you’ll be doing.
- Get approval from Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa for your service project by filling out this form.
- Once your project has been approved, complete at least 20 hours of service to earn the bar!
Note: Service hours for this bar need to be separate from those you use toward other awards. Each bar represents a new project and can only be earned once.
