Customer Care Manager 

JOB STATUS: Exempt

LOCATION: Des Moines

PURPOSE OF JOB: Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Care Manager. This is a supervisory position. The individual in this role will manage the team, develop processes, and recommend strategies/action plans for increasing customer satisfaction. The Customer Care Manager will also directly answer customer inquiries. The Customer Care team serves as the first point of contact for inquiries via phone, email or in person.  The Customer Care team is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to all members/customers, both external and internal. This position requires some limited travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a lead role or supervisory capacity
  • Call center experience or experience with case-tracking software preferred
  • High customer service orientation with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively and train in a team environment
  • Is detail oriented with good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Goal oriented with good planning and organization skills

Data Administrator  

JOB STATUS: Non-Exempt

LOCATION: Des Moines, Council Bluffs, Fort Dodge, Mason City, or Sioux City

PURPOSE OF JOB: Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa has an exciting opportunity for a database administrator. The individual in this role oversees data quality, ensuring integrity of information needed for decision-making at all levels of the organization. The Data Administrator regularly runs and reviews data quality reports to identify data quality issues; investigates root causes of data issues and works individually and in conjunction with team members and management to implement corrective actions.  The Administrator also assists with system training for new and existing staff, including data quality training.  

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelors’ Degree with a minimum one year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with data management and data base systems; CRM experience, especially Salesforce, desirable
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and other applications; able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies with ability to understand the basic data quality principles and practice
  • Able to monitor, define, prioritize and complete tasks independently
  • Able to objectively review, compare and contrast data from a variety of sources, identifying issues while assessing potential outcomes
  • Good at, and enjoys solving problems and/or formulating strategies
  • High customer service orientation with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Service Unit Support Manager  

JOB STATUS: Exempt

LOCATION: Des Moines, Council Bluffs, Fort Dodge, Mason City, or Sioux City

PURPOSE OF JOB: Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa has an exciting opportunity for a Service Unit Support Manager. The individual in this role will develop plans, resources, and recommendations for volunteers delivering Girl Scout programming in their local communities. The Service Unit Support Manager provides customer care and support directly to volunteer teams as they organize Girl Scouting opportunities. The Service Unit Support Manager works collaboratively across departments to ensure the achievement of Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa’s goals, with a focus on volunteer satisfaction and membership retention. This position requires some limited travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelors’ Degree with a minimum one year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with Girl Scouts or other volunteer-based organization preferred
  • High customer service orientation with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
