JOB STATUS: Exempt (12 months)
LOCATION: Joy Hollow, Westfield, IA
PURPOSE OF JOB: Join our team and experience Adventure, Excitement, and Leadership! Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa seeks a camp director to oversee camp operations ensuring the delivery of high quality outdoor events and programs. Provides year-round on-site direction and administration of an ACA accredited resident camp to meet the needs and interests of today's girls; promoting the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: BA degree in a related academic discipline or equivalent experience preferred with two years in camp supervision, recreation and youth oriented programs. Certified or ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid, Lifeguarding, Certified Pool Operator, and as a Challenge Course Facilitator. Excellent planning, organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, and written and oral communication skills. Great motivational and leadership skills a plus! Girl Services Manager (2 positions)

PURPOSE OF JOB: The Girl Services Manager is responsible for providing Council support for Service Unit leaders, volunteers and girls within an assigned area promoting the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience. This position works effectively in the community by identifying underserved populations and ensuring the opportunity to join our organization through several exciting Pathways.
QUALIFICATIONS: BA degree preferred, and/or 2 – 3 years equivalent experience. Girl Scout experience strongly preferred. Must have the ability to succeed in a team environment, work flexible hours, and demonstrate exceptional planning, organization, written and oral communication skills. Sales, marketing and public speaking experience, a plus. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and data base experience needed. Please send cover letter and resume to Human Resources.

PURPOSE OF JOB: Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa seeks a Girl Services Manager that is outgoing and highly motivated to join our membership team! This position is responsible for providing Council support for service unit leaders, volunteers and girls within an assigned area; promoting the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience by way of community cultivation. This position works to identify underserved populations, ensuring the opportunity to join our organization through several exciting Pathways.
QUALIFICATIONS: BA degree preferred and/or 2 to 3 years equivalent experience. Girl Scout experience strongly preferred. LOCATION: Fort Dodge
PURPOSE OF JOB: The Administrative Specialist supports the council as the front line contact with both internal and external customers providing data base, word processing, spreadsheet and general clerical tasks in the specialist’s assigned area. This position also performs functions in the Girl Scouts Greater Iowa retail shop. The successful candidate must demonstrate sound time-management skills by effectively and efficiently organizing, prioritizing, and completing multiple assignments in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS: AA degree and/or equivalent experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, data base management, and other office machines. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proven three years of customer service experience. Belief in the mission of the Girl Scout movement, and willingness to become a member of Girl Scouts of the USA.
