A Wrangler-In-Training is a girl in 9th, 10th, or 11th
grade who is taking her first step to becoming a
camp leader. If you have a desire to work with
children, be a leader at camp and among your
peers, and are committed to being a good role
model for younger Girl Scouts, becoming a W.I.T.
is for you. Experience in horse care, riding skills,
leadership styles, arena safety, program goals and
outcomes, and responsibility are the core of this
This program is run jointly with our C.I.T. and
L.I.T. programs with an emphasis on the
presence and use of horse stables and
programming in a camp setting.
