Get Creative - Build a Booth!
Calling all creative cookie bosses – enter Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa’s 2023 Build a Booth Contest to create your own amazing Girl Scout Cookie Booth and a chance to win big!
An exciting booth grabs the eye of potential customers hurrying by, and is a great way increase sales to meet your cookie goals! Troops and individual Girl Scouts can brainstorm ideas, and then work on designing the decorations and collecting any props.
The top Troop or Individual Girl Scout submission from each grade level category will have a dolphin symbolically adopted in their honor. Top submissions will received an adoption certificate, framed dolphin photo, and a symbolic dolphin plush for each participating Girl Scout. All troops and individual Girl Scouts that enter the Build a Booth contest will earn an exclusive Build a Booth patch!
How does the contest work? To enter, troops or individual Girl Scouts decorate their booth, participate in a booth sale, and photograph themselves with their booth. After the contest deadline on March 26, GSGI will select the top submissions from each grade level category. The winners will be notified by March 31 and GSGI will post the winners on social media.
What are the grade level categories?
One submission from each of these categories will be selected:
- Daisy and Brownie Level
- Junior and Cadette Level
- Senior and Ambassador Level
*Multilevel troops will be entered in the category that fits the majority of their troop members.
Who can participate in the Build a Booth Contest? Any registered Girl Scout in the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa council can enter the Build a Booth contest. Troops or individual Girl Scouts can submit their booth or lemonade stand.
How do I get my patch? All participants in the Build a Booth Contest will receive a patch. The Build a Booth patch will be included with the 2023 cookie rewards mailing.
How do we enter the Build a Booth Contest? Share your troop or individual Girl Scout boothor lemonade stand submission with us through out Share Your Story form. Snap a picture of your troop or individual Girl Scout in front of their booth and submit the picture(s) using the link.
When is the deadline to enter the Build a Booth contest? The deadline to submit your booth or lemonade stand is March 26.
