As a supporter of Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, you know that in an effort to show our love to our Girl Scout members and volunteers, we have been providing free membership – with your help – for our upcoming Girl Scout year. The traditional $25 annual membership supports the cost of technology, insurance, materials, and research in girl programming.
By waiving registration fees, even more girls across Iowa will have access to Girl Scout programs that help them develop the skills and connections to grow into our future women leaders who will one day change the world.
So far, donors like you have generously raised 16% of the predicted expenses of 9,000 Girl Scout and 3,000 volunteer memberships.
As we continue our campaign to close the remaining gap, we are excited to announce our selection to participate in USA Today’s Community Thrives competition!
With your help, if we raise $6,000 towards the Show Love Campaign between now and October 16, we are eligible for up to $100,000 in grant funding – all to go back to local Iowa Girl Scouts!
Every $25 you donate will fund the membership for one local Girl Scout. A $300 gift funds the membership of your local troop (12 girls). You can make a difference in the lives of local Girl Scouts today and unlock the possibility for even more support in the future.
