Support Us The Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa serves girls ages 5-17 in a 74 county area. Today’s Girl Scouts are tomorrow’s involved citizens and leaders. We have been priveleged enough to give girls the opportunity build self-confidence, develop leadership skills, strengthen character and feel a sense of belonging while experiencing fun and adventure through our Girl Scout Programming. We gratefully provide programming due to individual, family and community support. We are a recipient of United Way funding, however, these funds account for only a small portion of our budget. The money that is donated by individuals, families and community partners is money well spent as girls grow strong through our programming.
