- 10/1/09: Did you know? Any of the items available in the 09-10 Girl Scout catalog can be purchased through YOUR council store.

WE OFFER DISCOUNTED SHIPPING RATES, which means you can save by purchasing locally! In addition, all purchases benefit YOUR girls by supporting services and programs offered by your Council.
- 6/1/09: Bridge to Ambassador Placement: The Bridge to Ambassador patch goes on the sash or vest in the row of Bridging Awards next in line to the Bridge to Senior. The Bridge patches follow in succession on the left side (if you are facing it) with the new Bridge to Ambassador being bottommost. GSM is in the process of creating new insignia placement diagrams which will be in the new GS Catalog 2009-10 and on their website (OCN). The catalog is set to release sometime this month.
- 6/1/09: Studio 2B Charms Update: Eight of the STUDIO 2B charms will be (have been) discontinued and replaced with Focus Patches which will be in the new Girl Scout Catalog. The three IP awards that are offered as Charms and are also offered as Pin and Patches (In the Pink, Home is Where the Heart is) will continue to be available as patches only. The related two charms and pin have been discontinued.
Current STUDIO 2B Program resources will be supported now through 2010. The Focus books and related awards will remain available through the year 2010. The exception is the On the Road Program which was discontinued in August 2008. The On the Road Charm will be supplied while quantities last through December 2009 for girls who are currently engaged in the Program. Once supply is gone, it will not be possible to obtain the award or program materials.
