Grade 9

A Leader-In-Training (L.I.T.) is a Senior Girl Scout who is taking
her first step to becoming a camp leader. She has a desire to
work with children, be a leader at camp and among her peers,
and is committed to being a good role model for younger Girl
Scouts. Experience in child development, outdoor living skills,
leadership styles, contemporary issues, program goals and
outcome, and responsibility are the core of this Leadership

A summer as an L.I.T. is not required before young women
become C.I.T.s; however, it will provide the foundation for
C.I.T. I & II. Leader-In-Training is a three week program that
runs concurrently with the Counselor-In-Training Leadership
