Chasing Laurels - Horseback Riding (Altoona)

Hey Girl Scouts! Ready to saddle up for a new adventure? Join Chase Corley, who has close to 30 years of experience, at Chasing Laurels to earn your Horseback Riding Badge. You will gain the skills you need to feel confident and comfortable around horses and even take a ride!

When you schedule a time with Chasing Laurels, they will work with the groups to provide drinks and a snack. As a BONUS: Chasing Laurels will provide each Girl Scout with a FREE riding lesson, to be used on a future date.

Everyone attending must print and sign a waiver.

Clinics will take between 2-2.5 hours (instruction and ride time). Clinics will be held rain or shine. Girl Scout groups are welcome to bring lunch to enjoy at the stables, or arrange with Chasing Laurels to have snacks and drinks available.

Cost: $35 per Girl Scout (Junior Horseback Riding badge included)

To schedule your horseback riding adventure, contact Chase Corley at or at 515-447-6866.

*Volunteers: It is still recommended that you submit a Plan 2 Insurance form for this approved horseback riding activity.  Chaperones are required for this session.*
