See You At Summer Camp!

Camp Sacajawea is located about 6 1/2 miles northwest of Boone on over 400 acres of wooded ravines and plateaus bordering the Des Moines River. The crystal clear blue water in the large swimming pool is a nice refresher on Iowa's hot humid summer days. Newly remodeled shower facilities for both sexes adjoins the pool. All buildings at Camp Sacajawea are handicap accessible.

The American Camp Association has deemed Camp Sacajawea as an accredited camp. The resident camp season runs from early June to mid August. Camp Sac has reopened "Creek Stompin'", August 3-8!  Do you enjoy water activities?  Splash, stomp, slip and slide through the wild side of Camp Sac! Explore nature, stomp through creeks, swim, play water games and have a stompin' good time!
